TR-3B
A friend said, he would never forget the sight of the alien looking TR-3B based at Papoose. The pitch black, triangular shaped TR-3B was rarely mentioned–and then, only in hushed whispers–at the Groom Lake facility where he worked. The craft had flown over the Groom Lake runway in complete silence and magically stopped above Area S-4. It hovered silently in the same position, for some 10 minutes, before gently settling vertically to the tarmac. At times a corona of silver blue light glowed around the circumference of the massive TR-3B. The operational model is 600 feet across.
The TR-3B is Code named Astra. The tactical reconnaissance TR-3B first operational flight was in the early 90s. The triangular shaped nuclear powered aerospace platform was developed under the Top Secret, Aurora Program with SDI and black budget monies. At least 3 of the billion dollar plus TR-3Bs were flying by 1994. The Aurora is the most classified aerospace development program in existence. The TR-3B is the most exotic vehicle created by the Aurora Program. It is funded and operationally tasked by the National Reconnaissance Office, the NSA, and the CIA. The TR-3B flying triangle is not fiction and was built with technology available in the mid 80s. Not every UFO spotted is one of theirs.
The TR-3B vehicles outer coating is reactive to electrical Radar stimulation and can change reflectiveness, radar absorptiveness, and color. This polymer skin, when used in conjunction with the TR-3Bs Electronic Counter Measures and, ECCM, can make the vehicle look like a small aircraft, or a flying cylinder–or even trick radar receivers into falsely detecting a variety of aircraft, no aircraft, or several aircraft at various locations. A circular, plasma filled accelerator ring called the Magnetic Field Disrupter, surrounds the rotatable crew compartment and is far ahead of any imaginable technology.
Sandia and Livermore laboratories developed the reverse engineered MFD technology. The government will go to any lengths to protect this technology. The plasma, mercury based, is pressurized at 250,000 atmospheres at a temperature of 150 degrees Kelvin and accelerated to 50,000 rpm to create a super-conductive plasma with the resulting gravity disruption. The MFD generates a magnetic vortex field, which disrupts or neutralizes the effects of gravity on mass within proximity, by 89 percent. Do not misunderstand. This is not antigravity. Anti-gravity provides a repulsive force that can be used for propulsion. The MFD creates a disruption of the Earth’s gravitational field upon the mass within the circular accelerator. The mass of the circular accelerator and all mass within the accelerator, such as the crew capsule, avionics, MFD systems, fuels, crew environmental systems, and the nuclear reactor, are reduced by 89%. This causes the effect of making the vehicle extremely light and able to outperform and outmaneuver any craft yet constructed–except, of course, those UFOs we did not build.
The TR-3B is a high altitude, stealth, reconnaissance platform with an indefinite loiter time. Once you get it up there at speed, it doesnt take much propulsion to maintain altitude. At Groom Lake their have been whispered rumours of a new element that acts as a catalyst to the plasma. With the vehicle mass reduced by 89%, the craft can travel at Mach 9, vertically or horizontally. My sources say the performance is limited only the stresses that the human pilots can endure. Which is a lot, really, considering along with the 89% reduction in mass, the G forces are also reduced by 89%.
The TR-3Bs propulsion is provided by 3 multimode thrusters mounted at each bottom corner of the triangular platform. The TR-3 is a sub-Mach 9 vehicle until it reaches altitudes above l20,000 feet–then God knows how fast it can go! The 3 multimode rocket engines mounted under each corner of the craft use hydrogen or methane and oxygen as a propellent. In a liquid oxygen/hydrogen rocket system, 85% of the propellent mass is oxygen. The nuclear thermal rocket engine uses a hydrogen propellent, augmented with oxygen for additional thrust. The reactor heats the liquid hydrogen and injects liquid oxygen in the supersonic nozzle, so that the hydrogen burns concurrently in the liquid oxygen afterburner. The multimode propulsion system can; operate in the atmosphere, with thrust provided by the nuclear reactor, in the upper atmosphere, with hydrogen propulsion, and in orbit, with the combined hydrogen\ oxygen propulsion.
What you have to remember is, that the 3 rocket engines only have to propel 11 percent of the mass of the Top Secret TR-3B. The engines are reportedly built by Rockwell. Many sightings of triangular UFOs are not alien vehicles but the top secret TR-3B. The NSA, NRO, CIA, and USAF have been playing a shell game with aircraft nomenclature – creating the TR-3, modified to the TR-3A, the TR-3B, and the Teir 2, 3, and 4, with suffixes like Plus or Minus added on to confuse further the fact that each of these designators is a different aircraft and not the same aerospace vehicle. A TR-3B is as different from a TR-3A as a banana is from a grape. Some of these vehicles are manned and others are unmanned.

Husband and son saw this thing near barksdale AFB in Louisiana in august of this year.
I also saw this thing near/north of Barksdale AFB back in the mid 90′s. I quit telling about it because no one believed me. Called it a UFO until finding this link a few months ago … what a relief. The three lights were not on when I saw it hovering over Caddo Lake off Hwy 1 near Oil City, La. Actually a calm came over me instead of fear which seemed curious to me later. It was huge, the outline glowed simular to dim neon. WOW
I have wondered for 16 years what the craft was i saw in 97. We pulled off the side of a low travel country road and watched it for a few minutes in total awe, confusion and fear by what we saw silently hovering over an open field to the side of us. I have for years tried to figure it out but nothing ever looked or acted right till now. I was with 2 others when we saw it. Thank you for this post. That's interesting that you say this, for I saw the same thing fly over my head in 1997 but I was living in Denver, had three bright lights and as it slowly flew towards us I finally comprehended that this was a massive object gliding against the night sky silently… I had an idea of what I saw when years ago Popular Mechanic's had on it's cover the "Aurora"
I also saw it in Michigan. It was just a few minutes from Selfridge air base. It flew over Warren, Detroit. The path it traveled was Van Dyke ave. Very public at 7pm January 2010.
I live just outside of DC. A few days after 9/11 with no other lights in the sky I witnessed 3 lights flying overhead in a triangular pattern. They were high enough for me to think they were recon planes or satellites. But, the longer I thought about it and looked at them, I was sure that it was a single object. I ran inside… I've never been so fearful and I've only told my wife until I read this article.
It's a hot pocket put into orbit by sewer gas and, a spark and lighter fluid.
I don't see how the G-forces that the occupants are subjected to are reduced with the mass reduction. They should pertain to acceleration, not the mass of the craft. Please explain.
Force = Mass X acceleration? Messing with any parts of this equation (changing the effective mass), would decrease relative behavior of this equation. My thoughts anyway. Gravity is a type of force with a value of 9.8 m/sec squared.
My sons and I actually saw 2 of these in Plainfield, Illinois off of rte 59/127th street hovering over 2 separate cornfields in September 2012 at approximately 11pm. Silent, black and hovering a few hundred feet off the ground. No idea which "model" they were. We were within 1/4 mile of 1 and a few miles away from the second one.
My sister said she saw something in the shape of an acorn hovering directly over her head at 200' for about 5 minutes one twilight evening back in 1966. But, could this be the same kind of craft as the TR-3B, since it its development was more recent?
1993, I had a giant, silent, black triangle fly directly over me, prob at an altitude of about 1000ft, it was low. I'm 1 hour west of philly, the triangle was flying slowly in a SE direction. It was at least the size of 2 football fields, easily the largest thing I have ever seen in the sky. This article gives the best explanation I have seen yet, but even if this was a man made craft it scared and still scares the hell out of me. It almost like your brain can't comprehend what you are looking at it's so surreal.
Sure does not look and sound like alien back engineering to me,rather advanced but crude technology. So if we have that supposedly why are we still using conventional Rockets to go to Mars or the Moon? Why are we still building F35's?

Reading this wasquite interesting, and got me thinking… so I did some calculations. 250,000 atmospheres would calculate out to roughly 3,675,000 psi (More that any known pressure vessel can hold, and about 50 times the tensile strength of all knowen materials except carbon nanotubes). The ring in this craft would contain 9,700,000 cubic feet of mercury vapor, and at that pressure would be at a density of 845 lbs/ft^3 (13.5g/cm^3). That calculates out to 8,200,000,000 lbs of vapor alone (2000 times the annual mining production rate, i.e. 2000 years worth of mining), plus the craft itself. Even after reducing the weight of this vehicle by 89%, it would still weigh 902,000,000 lbs. making it STILL 145 times heavier than the Saturn V rockets. Do the math, based on the "information" about this craft it's physically impossible for it to actually be real.
yes and i do mean YES. i have been following this "thing" since 2010, the story that is. a Lot doesn't "add up" as to weight and measures, although most of my schooling was is Newtonian based Statics with some over lay into Dynamics, etc. it is mind boggling when someone puts the pencil to paper. yet on the morning of 10/11/11 , at 3:15am , i Did witness "something " that defied anything i have Ever seen are have knowledge of. it passed over me and was Very stealth and was a huge manta shape, about 200ft wide, at about 200ft altitude, at a speed of 35m.p.h. , it was almost at hover and, at the time , i thought it was going to land in the farm fields that the road divided. very strange . but back to this propulsion system and TR-3B , every time i right it Off, i then hear or read or run across Something to re-ignite my interests.
I am not sure what it may have been that you saw. I definetally believe that we are not alone on the universe, or even this galaxy. The statistical probability of us being the only intellagent life is just rediculous. And I wouldn't be a bit supprised if we have been visited. Contact probably hasn't been made simply because if a society is capable of interstellar travel, we would be like primative ants to them. It has occurred to me too that if we are talking about interstellar beings then we have to consider that they may have no actual interest in our species at all. Our home planet may be a source of useful material but we may be just one of thousands of primitive humanoid species – boring, useless but maybe good to eat! The thing is we just don't know but I do laugh when people think that our governments have super-secret knowledge. They are not that bright. Can you imagine our hormone frenzied politicians trying to play power games with beings of great sophistication and history? Of course we are all left grasping at straws.
I have seen a great number of the boomerang shaped craft flying in civilian airspace in SE London. They pop in and out of visibility as they tear through the sky. Why? Are we lighting them up with our localiser beams and microwave arrays? Do they want us to see them or do they even care? Is this all part of an earth based phenomenon all along? So many questions and so little tangible evidence.
And the centripital force exerted on the ring would be 1,331,992,992,435 pounds!
The exact details listed here may not be accurate. But that doesn't mean it doesn't exist in some form.
So this hard ware is over 15 years in the making, we've penetrated a lot of air space with it and still have not deployed it to Iran or North Korea to adjust their attitude (to my knowledge). Makes me wonder…

As the link below will show you, it's due to a combination of standard aerodynamics and an unusual flapping pattern of the wings. The left and right sides move independant of eachother and they don't flap up and down. They actually flap front to back and do a flip at each end which generates a small vortex above the wings to provide lift. This was discovered with smoke in a wind tunnel, high speed cameras, and laser measurements. Please see the following page:

Interesting, at 150 Kelvin you can't have mercury vapour at 250,000 atmosphere, it would be a solid at that pressure and temperature.
In order for a plasma to exist at that pressure it would have to be at an extremely high temperature.
Think about it, it's rather like saying steam at 150K and 250,000 atmospheres, it would be very dense ICE, not steam.
I built one of these over a weekend using bits of an old Erector set, a Chevy Vega and some vacuum tubes, My version can also time travel but it gets lousy gas mileage so I don’t use it much
Saw one a few years ago and assumed it was a classified tr-3 craft. Recently received indirect confirmation from someone who said it made all the atomic clocks in his home go haywire.
Interestingly, also saw a fleet of craft that were somewhat similar but much bigger and more luminous, graceful, and phantom-like.

On March 31, 2013 at 3:30 AM my buddy and I saw four of them after coming home from a wedding reception in Muncie, IN. Needless to say some crazy thoughts went through my head. Before doing some research, I didn't want to tell anyone. Thought they would think I was crazy.
Seen in Netcong NJ in 2002. It was traveling very slow and low, just above the treeline. We heard no sound. The aircraft was above a Mexican restaraunt, a pink building called the El Coyote. It was still light outside. We slowed our car as we peeked directly at its underbelly. Frightened, we drove 2 blocks away to our apartment. We paced around for a few minutes before grabbing our camera and running back on foot. It was gone.
I saw one in Ireland in 2007 It moved very slowly above my home at night.
In the early nineties, this aircraft flew silently over my head while working midnights on a railroad in south central florida. I was amazed…I feel vindication knowing its becoming known. I told so many people, many thought I was full of it…lol lots
